Situated on the shore of the Urubamba River ,near the old Inca Trail and 30 minutes walk to the Maras salt mines, we are situated in the center of the Sacred Valley 5 kilometers from Urubamba Village, 10 kilometers from Ollantaytambo Ruins and Train Station to Machu Pichu., 30 minutes from Pisaq or Chinchero, and there are always Radio Taxi, van, local bus available.
We suggest that you stay first in the Sacred Valley then visit Cusco city, you will aclimatize easier to the altitude of Cusco which is 3250 meters, where the Sacred Valley is lower at 2,800 meters.
